My history....
Some people have e-mailed wanting to know my military history, so here's the cliff notes!
Entered the Army in 1995 as an Infantry private. Did my basic/AIT at Ft. Benning, GA before going to Fort Hood. At Hood I was in 2/7 Cav (Garryowen) of the First Cavalry Division. I then did a year in Korea with 1-9 Infantry (Manchu) as part of the 2nd Infantry Division. From there i transitioned to the TN Guard as a medic, completing another AIT as Fort Sam Houston as a 91W (Medic) in 2000. I then went to Officer Candidate School in 2001/2 (Class 45) and comissioned as a 2LT in August of 2002. Flight school followed in 2003 (class 3-18) and I got my wings on April 28th 2004. After Apache school I served as a platoon leater with R Trp 4/278th Cav (Rogues) until April 28th 2006 when I broke my wings. I finally medically retired February 22 2007 at Fort Sam Houston and subsequently began medical school at Quillen College of Medicine in July of 2007. Now i'm coming to a town near you!

Try to head over to 101 via Tillamook
Tillamook NAS (WWII) largest wooden hangar in US a small museum and if you like cheese......
or 101 via McMinnville and stop and see the Spruce Goose
Try to grab lunch at Moe's West by Devils punchbowl, thats near Otter rock
Stop at at least one lighthouse
I think you could do any one of them justice with your photography
+1 for Tillamook. I ended up there by chance and it was fun. The hanger is cool and if you are into seeing how things are made, you can tour the cheese factory.
mmmmmm, cheese curds.

I gotta respond again to that.....Ohhh..Cheese curds ( in a Homer Simpson voice)....real hard to find unless you live right next door to a cheese factory
