Things to read...

If time is short, I'd suggest reading at LEAST The Prologue and Legend of The Pinto Bean Posts!

A Huge Thanks!

Hey everybody! While I've been trying hard to keep up with sending a reply to all who e-mail me, the overwhelming response has made it to where there's no way I can get to everyone and still write blogs! That beings said, a few things:

1. Thanks you EVERYONE who has written!!!!

2. Please continue to write, as I PROMISE I am reading every single e-mail I get, even though I can't reply to them all. A few may get replies but I just can't manage that for everyone when typing with just one hand....

3. If you are writing with an offer of a place to stay I am keeping all of those, and you may get a reply as I get closer! I'm going to start trying to give a day's notice as to where I'll be so check in and see!

Thanks again everyone! You all are starting to make me think I really know how to write! I'm going to have to mail this to my old english teachers and say "ha ha!" To which they can reply with all my mistakes and a "ha ha!" of their own....

Duhhh i forgot to list tomorrow's attempted destination! Somewhere between Syracuse and Buffalo! Happy Trails...

Daniel,
I just read about you on B5, WOW! I wish you and Rockstar only the best on your journey. It will make a great book. I am an Air Force HH60 driver(CSAR), so I am in your corner. You and Rocky have a place to stay if you pass through Vegas(this is a no shit offer). I just want to put your mind at ease your dog is NOT retarded, he is just a Boxer. As the owner of two, they all act that way. Enjoy the road and Be safe ! i will be trying to add you on myspace, I'd like to keep in touch

Daniel - just came over here from Blackfive and read every one of your posts! I am absolutely hooked. I would read a book of yours any day. You really do write quite well, and I love your sense of humor. Sorry about finding a pup who rides on the short bus - I have a little terrier who has those moments, too - but I wouldn't give him up for the world! Thank you so much for your service and I hope you have a great trip - come all the way out to California and we'll help you out with food and lodging.

Daniel,

I discovered your site when it was mentioned by Mjr Chuck Z on tcoverride.blogspot.com otherwise known as From my position...On my way. I have read everything that you have on your site and am very greatful to MjrC that he recommended you site. I must tell you that you're a VERY good writer and don't let anyone tell you different. Your way with words grabs the reader's intrest and holds it to the very end of the story. I for one will be checking on your site daily for new posting and enjoying your travels around this Country.

I also must say Thank You for you Service to this Country and her People. I wish you the best in all of your endevors including the future book about this journey. I will be looking forward to purchasing a copy for all the stories that were not on the web-site.

May the 'Bean' carry you and the "RTD" saftely through this adventure.

Miss Em

Hi Daniel,
I live around the corner from you in the house on Newbern Dr.- the one with the 60 pound puppy who sits in the front bay window like a cat but barks at everything going by as well as some stationary objects that he suddenly notices. We have met Rocky on the occasions when I can get my chicken dog to actually walk more than 3 houses away from home. I saw your article in the paper and have just finally gotten around to finding your blog and catching up with you. Sounds like you are having quite an adventure and I've really enjoyed reading your great stories. You are now traveling in my original neck of the woods in central and western NY. Wish I had known sooner as I might have been able to hook you up with a place to stay. If you get stuck let me know and I might still be able to work something out for you. Check out the lakes while you are there- they are beautiful. We'll keep up with you. Travel safe.
